For Educators and School Staff

You know when a student needs more than what the school evaluation process can provide. Whether the district evaluation left questions unanswered, a parent is pushing for an independent assessment, or you're seeing a profile that just doesn't fit neatly into any existing category, Clary Clinic is here to help you get that student the clarity they need.

What We Do

Clary Clinic provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for students ages 6 through adulthood. Dr. Lee brings a unique perspective to school-based referrals: before her doctoral training and post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, she spent nine years as a school psychologist. She understands IEPs, 504 plans, evaluation reports, and the realities of what schools can and can't provide — because she's been in that room.

Evaluations at Clary Clinic typically cover:

  • Comprehensive cognitive and academic testing

  • Processing speed, working memory, and executive functioning

  • Autism spectrum disorder, including subtle and female-presenting profiles

  • ADHD, including inattentive and combined presentations

  • Dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other learning disabilities

  • Twice-exceptional and gifted profiles

  • Emotional and behavioral factors affecting learning

Every evaluation includes a detailed written report with diagnosis, interpretation, and specific recommendations, written to be useful to educators, not just filed away.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)

When a parent disagrees with a school district's evaluation, they have the right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation at public expense. Clary Clinic conducts IEEs and is experienced in writing reports that meet the documentation standards school teams need.

If a family has questions about the IEE process, we're happy to walk them through it. You can also refer them directly to us, and we'll take it from there.

How Referrals Work

Referring a student to Clary Clinic is straightforward:

  1. Share our contact information with the family — no formal referral paperwork required

  2. Families reach out directly to schedule

  3. With a signed release, Dr. Lee can coordinate with you throughout the process and share the final report directly with the school team

We aim to have students seen within four weeks. Reports are typically completed within five weeks of the feedback session.

What Sets Us Apart for School Referrals

Dr. Lee knows your world. Nine years as a school psychologist means she understands what teachers and special education staff actually need from an outside evaluation — actionable recommendations, clear diagnostic language, and a report you can bring to an IEP meeting with confidence.

One patient per day. Students aren't rushed. Testing is paced to the individual child, with breaks built in as needed. Parents consistently tell us their child felt comfortable and unhurried — which means better data and better outcomes.

Fast turnaround. With a typical wait of under four weeks, Clary Clinic can help you move an evaluation forward without losing an entire school year to a waitlist.
